Intended Parent & Surrogate Matching at NewGen Families
This is one of the most exciting stages of your journey. You will ultimately meet the beautiful person who will be carrying your baby. Be prepared that this can be an incredibly emotional time. Our team will be alongside to help with anything you need, answer as many questions or talk through any concerns you may have.
Pre-Match Requirements: PGT-A Tested Embryos & Intended Parent Profile
At NewGen, the matching process kicks off once you have your beautiful PGT-A tested embryos ready. It’s also at this point that you need to have your Intended Parent (IP) Profile complete as this forms part of the matching process.
The Matching Process
The matching process will be led by our Surrogacy Program Director, who will outline the surrogate benefits package, costs, insurance considerations, and delve into the specifics of your matching requirements. Throughout this process, we want you to feel completely at ease and encourage full transparency regarding your preferences for a surrogate. We want the best match for you. To give you a bit of insight, the matching process looks a little like this:
1. Meeting with Surrogacy Program Director
In this meeting, we discuss:
✔️ Your matching requirements
✔️ Surrogacy costs, fees, and insurance details
✔️ Surrogate recruitment, screening, and care
✔️ Location considerations
✔️ The next steps in your surrogacy journey
2. Sharing of profiles
- You will receive a surrogate profile to review
- Your Intended Parent Profile will be shared with the surrogate
- This is the time to ask as many questions as you need
- Carefully review the surrogate’s benefits package and any location-based cost considerations
3. Match meeting:
This virtual meeting is the final step before confirming your match. You will:
- Meet your potential surrogate
- Learn about her life, preferences, and surrogacy journey goals
- Ask any remaining questions
- Experience an emotional yet rewarding moment in your journey
Our Surrogacy Program Director will facilitate the discussion to ensure a smooth, open, and comfortable experience.
4. Post-match meeting:
- We will schedule a follow-up call immediately after your match meeting
- You have 48 hours to confirm if you want to move forward
- Use this time to ask any final questions to ensure you’re confident in your decision
